Description:
A conformable, low crimp, low stretch, low weight and high strength co-we-knit knitted polyester and aramid tape that is specifically designed to maximise the properties of the aramid yarns while minimising the quantity of aramid used.
Applications:
SuperLite ToughTape was originally designed as a safety catchment tape to contain an energy level of 1.43MJ in the event of a flywheel failure. Typically this fabric is now used in applications which require a very strong tape.
