Description:
A conformable, extensible, tubular warp knitted glass fabric.
Applications:
FlexiTube Glass is primarily aimed at the GRP industry where components with complex curves and surfaces are required. In particular, frustrum, conical and cylindrical components. FlexiTube Glass can also be used for heat protection/insulation applications.
Standard Products:
FTG/300/20 - 4000. A 300g/sq. m. (surface) tubular glass fabric available in lay-flat widths of between 20 and 4000mm. This corresponds to nominal diameters of 13mm to 2547mm.
Options:
Can be made from virtually any other material. Weight can both increased or decreased as required. Width can be varied as required from 20mm to 4000mm Slits can be manufactured into the tube. Tube can transition into a tape and back into a tube.
