Textile Process Development

Should clients require products which can not be made on any commercially available machinery, we have inhouse engineering, electronic and process control abilities and can provide machinery modification to solve the problem. These can range from minor optimisations to improve quality and yield to the design, manufacture and commision of completely new processes.

Tether Winder.

Our previous textile developments include the Terminator Tether, for this client we also developed a special winding rig with programable electronic traverse to facilitate twist-free and snag-free deployment of the tether.

Electronic Positive Feed.

Culzean Textile Solutions has developed 3 generations of electronic positive feed. The latest generation is capable of programable yarn delivery with automatic beam diameter compensation. All of our customers have commented on the improved quality and yield that our systems have produced.

Electronic Jacquard.

Culzean Textile Solutions was involved in the interfacing of state of the art Staubli jacquard technology with 1900's lace loom technology. The result is massivly reduced sampling overheads and massivly more versatile patterning options.

Machine Control.

Our client's yield from their exising machinery was very poor. Culzean Textile Solutions provided a solution by building new electronic control systems to replace the aging exisitng system. This option was the most cost-effective for our customer.
